Ayia Triada
Ayia Triada is a charming secluded costal area currently one of the most popular residential areas within the Protaras region. Sandy coves along un-spoilt coastal paths are the main attraction of this stretch of coastline nestling between the resorts of Kapparis and Protaras. Within these coves can be found Ayia Triada beach and a small fishing harbour. The beach is framed by an historical church overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Having soft sand and clear turquoise waters this beach is extremely pleasant for swimming or sunbathing. In the small fishing shelter you can watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch and buy directly from them for a delicious barbeque. Alternatively, just next to this harbour you can find a popular fish tavern serving a variety of fresh fish dishes throughout the day.
Being located between the areas of Kapparis and Protaras puts visitors within easy reach of a variety of restaurants bars and shops. Ayia Triada is backed-up with easily accessible public transports or taxis that can take you to Protaras, Paralmni and Ayia Napa within 15 minutes. With a privileged location, delightful beach and increasing infrastructures its no wonder that Ayia Triada is becoming more popular every year amongst visitors for long and short term stays.
The recent approval of a new Marina is also pushing both demand and prices up in this already favorable area.
Ayia Triada Beach
Ayia Triada is a visually appealing beach with a fishing harbour and tiny chapel. It is a sandy beach with sun loungers provided for the general public. It is tranquil and safe enough for children with the shallow waters and relatively small beach area (compared to the main beaches). There are walking trails along the coast if you are feeling active and want to soak up the views of the beautiful harbour.
