Fig Tree Bay Beach
(Protaras Bay)
One of Cyprus' best known and most popular beaches, Fig Tree Bay takes its name from the tree that provided shade to locals before the areas' popularity with tourists. With its long stretch of fine, white sand, clean and shallow water, the beach is a favourite with locals over the weekends, particularly those with small children. The island in the center of the bay contributes to the calmness of the water. The beach has good road access and many amenities. The beach is well equipped with restaurant and water sport facilities and is situated in the heart of Protaras

Lombardi Bay Beach and Nissia Bay Beach (Mimosa Beach)
Two small beaches located either side of a headland, to the south of Central Protaras.

Konnos Bay Beach
This beautiful beach is located to the east of Ayia Napa between Cape Greko and Protaras. Konnos Bay is a beautiful wind-swept bay which is almost like a secluded beach. You have to go down the slope from the main road through some hairpin bends to reach the beach. The setting of this beach is amazing. Lovely sandy beaches and shallow waters make it ideal for young families.
